Are you crazy about escape rooms? Then you are the person we are looking for!
As a game master, you are responsible for welcoming guests, explaining the story, and guiding them throughout their adventure. Afterwards, you discuss their results with them based on their score. You take a photo for our Facebook page. You tidy up the rooms back to their original state and prepare for the next reception or you close up. It is very important that guests leave with a big smile on their faces. Hospitality is central to us. All in all, you ensure that guests have a great escape experience!
We are looking for enthusiastic, social, and hospitable colleagues.
You are:
• Someone who speaks easily in front of groups
• someone who can work independently
• accurate;
• motivated
• someone who pays attention to detail
• someone who can multitask and handle the unexpected well,
• someone who remains calm and friendly at all times,
• someone who has basic PC skills
• someone who speaks fluent Dutch and French and has a basic knowledge of English
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Welcoming guests
• Tell the introductory story of our escape rooms (orally or via videos)
• Guide the groups during the game by observing and giving hints
• Take a group photo and post it with a story on the Facebook page
• Reset the escape rooms so they can be played again
• Keep the escape rooms and reception lounges clean and maintained
• Open and close
Additional possible tasks:
• Keep our social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube channel) up to date
• Maintain our website
• Create videos for our YouTube channel for the newest room The Recruit
What you can expect from us:
• Market-conform salary according to scale PC333
• Type of employment: student job, part-time, minimum 4 hours per week (negotiable)
• Variable working hours (in consultation)
Qualifications and skills
• Minimum 16 years old
You are available on:
o Friday: 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM and/or
o Saturday: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM (partially) and/or
o Sunday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM (partially)
