TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Article 1: Booking, Rates, and Cancellation

1.1. Rates: Insigo NV applies a fixed price per escape room, regardless of the number of participants (subject to the maximum capacity per room). There is no price reduction or refund if the group ultimately consists of fewer people.

1.2. No Right of Withdrawal: According to article VI.53, 12° of the Economic Law Code, the consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the purchase. Since the booking pertains to a leisure service on a specific date, the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days expires as soon as the booking is confirmed.

1.3. Cancellation and Refund: * If a booking is canceled, no cash refund will be issued.

The customer is entitled to a gift voucher for the full amount paid upon cancellation, regardless of the time of cancellation.

In the case of a no-show (not showing up without notice), the right to a gift voucher is forfeited and the full amount remains due.

Article 2: Arrangements During the Visit

2.1. Schedule: Insigo NV follows a strict schedule. If there is a delay of more than 15 minutes after the start time, access may be denied. The staff on site will assess whether a shortened version of the game is still possible. In no case is there a right to a (partial) refund or gift voucher.

2.2. Right of Access: Insigo NV may refuse access to individuals or groups on valid grounds (e.g., intoxication, aggression, or misconduct). No refunds will be issued.

2.3. Cameras and Microphones: Cameras and microphones are used for game supervision and safety. By entering the room, all participants give their consent for this.

2.4. Recordings and Confidentiality: Participants are prohibited from making video or audio recordings. Distributing puzzles or game secrets (spoilers) is not allowed. In case of violation, the activity may be stopped immediately.

2.5. Team Photos: Team photos taken may be posted on social media unless a participant explicitly requests not to do so.

Article 3: Damage and Liability

3.1. Damage: Any damage to the room or props will be fully charged to the perpetrator or the booker of the activity.

3.2. Own Risk: Participation is at one's own risk. Participants declare that they are in good health. Insigo NV is not liable for accidents or injuries.

3.3. Theft and Lockers: Insigo NV is not responsible for theft or damage to personal belongings. Use of the provided lockers is at one's own risk.

3.4. Limitation of Liability: The liability of Insigo NV is limited to the amount paid out by the insurance or to the invoice amount of the room.

Article 4: Payments and Invoicing

4.1. Invoices: Business invoices are available upon request. Invoices are payable within 21 calendar days after the invoice date, or no later than the day of the activity (earliest date applies).

Article 5: Intellectual Property

5.1. Ownership: All puzzles and concepts are the property of Insigo NV. "Smart Escape Rooms" is a registered trademark of Insigo NV and may not be used without permission in communications by third parties.

Article 6: Privacy (GDPR)

6.1. Processing: Personal data is only used for booking, safety, or (optional) newsletter.

6.2. Rights: Participants have the right to access and delete their data. Booking data will be automatically deleted after 2 years.

Article 7: General Provisions

7.1. Agreement: The booker agrees to these terms for all members of his/her team.

7.2. Disputes: Belgian law applies to this agreement. In case of disputes, only the Dutch-speaking courts of the Brussels district have jurisdiction.
